This 2025 Ford Maverick came into our Kearny Mesa shop with a large dent on the body lines of the left fender. Here's what we did to put it right.
The repair
- Replaced the left fender. The dent ran across the fender's body lines, so we replaced the fender.
- Blended the hood and left front door. Blending means we fade the new color out into the panels next to the new fender so the change happens gradually and your eye can't find a line. That's why the hood and front door got paint even though they weren't damaged.
